One cannot pray until they wash themselves

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 137:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "The prayer of a person who does ,Hadath (passes, urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs (repeats) the ablution." A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Huraira, "What is 'Hadath'?" Abu Huraira replied, " 'Hadath' means the passing of wind from the anus."

Yes, it is understandable that one should be respectful for an all-knowing being.
But, where does one wash themselves if they are at a mosque after they pass wind from the anus? Do mosques come equipped with bidets in case a person performs one of the above?
On a more spiritually note, if allah is all compassionate, merciful and understanding of his followers, why would he require his followers to always perform ablution for even the slightest "hadath", especially when he requires them to pray 5 times a day? This requirement is supersillious and anally retentive as it requires dilligence from a follower, one that cannot be met, especially if that individual is trying to be a productive member in society.

there is a protocol for every procedure. Ablution is a protocol which is broken by few events.
when u agree that u shouldn't be passing wind in a formal gathering with humans; why ar you amazed at requiring the Muslims to be performing ablution after they pass wind, urine, or stool.
